Brrrrrrrr!

14 degrees outside! It's super, bitter, icy cold! I know its winter and its suppose to be cold, but wowza!! I walked perhaps 1/2 a block and my head literally ached, my eyes were spouting waterfalls, and they hurt! And my thighs felt like they were being attacked. It was so cold. And I had only walked 1/2 block. Can you imagine those pour souls who walk 5 or so blocks to the train station? yikes!
I truly despise taking the bus home. Its an hour and a half ride on a good day. It makes me antsy. sigh...I can just feel old age settling in for a warm winter's(summer, spring, fall) night. I remember years ago...a scant 5 years ago when I would be on the bus for HOURS and it never bothered me. And now I've grown intolerant of the bus and all the traffic. Nonetheless I have my latest read to keep me company. Im currently reading Faithless by Karin Slaughter. I'll post a micro review when Im done with it. And with that dang 90 min bus ride that review could be coming sooner than you think your way! lol

I got a very encouraging email from my pastor. It just put a smile on my face. I loved it. :) It's good to know that the pastor cares. I need to hightail it back to My Father's house and pronto.

Anyway, ms dyslexix here transposed the numbers on her checking acct and I overspent thinking I had more money than I did. Now I have 4 bags of laundry and NO money to do them. I have nobody to borrow from and Im super annoyed! Im so dumb sometimes its not funny! Now I have to wait another 12 days until payday. Ima have to wash some clothes by hand cause I seriously dont got it. How pathetic.

Which leads me to my next statment. BAH HUMBUG! For the gazillionth time I agree with our cocreator. We spend so much money on other ppl and we waste all this effort and for what?? For a few bratty kids to smile? For a few fond memories? Yeah whatever. I say let's boycott next christmas! the shopping part anyway! My sister made a stmt. She said that next year she will focus her energy on her household. Heck that's what I've been telling everyone for YEARS. But I see that the gravy train is running out. I've decided to boycott. My husband is adamant that next year the only ppl getting gifts are the grandchildren (Gordo, Wiggles and baby jennifer), his kids, my parents and my 2 best friends). And I agree with him. check out the list of ppl we gave to this year.

Mom & Dad (2 ppl)
His Sister, Husband and 3 kids (5 ppl)
My sister, fiancee and 2 kids (4 ppl)
My other sister, boyfriend, his son, wiggles and soon to be baby jennifer (5 ppl)
My brother, wife, 4 kids (6 ppl)
My other brother, wife, 2 kids (4 ppl)
His 2 sons in VA (2 ppl)
His 1 daughter in middlesex cty, her sister and grandmother (3 ppl)
His dad (1)
Boss and wife (2 ppl)
Misc ppl (3 ppl)
best friend, daughter (2 ppl)

If you kept track, that's a total of 40 people. Ok mind you that I didnt spend a fortune on everyone. But when you come to add it all up, I spent quite a few hundred dollars. Plus I didnt put what I got my hubs. Here's what he got:

Authentic Jean Paul Gautier Cologne
CD made at Walmart with all his favorite music
Kenneth Cole Watch
$100
2 Pair of leather shoes that actually fit the width of his feet
2 dvd's
1 pair of Jeans

I think he made out like a bandit. I didnt do so bad myself. Check out what I got:

Sister gave me a nice watch with matching bracelet from Walmart. It's really nice! I loved it. And it comes with a mini jewelry box!

Brother gave me a toothbrush disinfectant, coach wallet, photo album with stickers and a coco chanel cologne!!

Our co-creator gave me Season 10 of FRIENDS! Yay!! I love them! And a small Bansai tree for my desk at work.

Mom gave me a beautiful Mikasa collectible plate. Very nice! I need to buy the holder for it.

sister-in-law gave me a purse. very cute.

So I did pretty good this year. Normally, I only get a gift from my co-creator and my sister, but this year I was blessed big time.

Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. Continue with your regularly scheduled programming! lol Feel free to drop me a line if you want. I welcome hearing from my fans.

Update: omG. I found myself SAVING my post and I did it by mistake. But hey you never know, what with the computer age and stuff, so I didnt think anything about it. I hit "publish post" only to get an error msg and it seemed to erase the post. Thankfully I had hit save and was able to pull it up! whew! I would not have been able to recreate this post. Ya'll know Im lazy, so I wouldnt have been updating any time soon either. Thank you JESUS!! I will now always hit SAVE first before I publish. Word to the wise...do the same.
